When I saw Alfa Romeo Stelvio for the first time on the prototype photos I didn’t like it at all. The design just wasn’t my type. When I saw it live on the street my attention had been captured for a while but still desire to this car wasn’t so strong. Everything changed when I drove Stelvio first few kilometers. I have never thought SUV can round corners so quick, smooth, like with zero effort. If I had to describe this Alfa Romeo in one sentence – it rides almost as good as Giulia but you sit higher and see everything better. Huge respect for Italians for achieving such effect!

What is more, when I finished cruising this car around the city with no reason, I noticed the exterior beauty of this car and I can easily say Stelvio is the most stylish SUV in it’s class, no doubts about it.

Alfa Romeo cars are all about emotions – driving and design. Well done!

Here's a quick tour of the 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio. The range-topping Stelvio uses a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 to produce 505hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. 0-60 mph is quoted at 3.9 seconds, but other sources have seen faster numbers. Top speed is 176 mph. The Stelvio QV competes with the Mercedes-AMG GLC63 (469hp) and the Porsche Macan Turbo Performance Pack (440hp).

The NEW 2018 Stelvio Quadrifoglio is a BEAST! Alfa romeos new stelvio quadrifoglio redefines what a fast SUV means. The Stelvio quadrifoglio delivers 0-60 in 3.6 seconds with a musical exhaust sound as its accelerations really throw you back into the carbon bucket seats. Here is my review/first drive of the AWD sub 8 minute Nurburgring time super SUV! It is safe to say that the Stelvio quadrifoglio is currently the best in its class!

The 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is by far the most exciting SUV on the market and arguably the best performance SUV ever built. From a driving enthusiast perepctive; the Stelvio Quadrifoglio gives you more enjoyment than most sports sedans. The experience is honestly addictive and you quickly forget you are driving an SUV.

For the first time ever Alfa Romeo is making a dent in the U.S. luxury car market and the Stelvio is a big reason for that. The Stelvio is an Italian built compact SUV with a lot to offer including a 505 horsepower high performance version called the Quadrifoglio. Pricing for the 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio start at $41,995 for the base model and top out at $79,795 for the Quadrifoglio model seen here.

As styling goes the Stelvio is more curvaceous than it is aggressively hard edged. Up front the familiar Alfa triangular grille is present along with LED headlights and gills on the hood that act as air extractors. The rims are sized 20-inch and are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. Out back the Stelvio is simple and clean with an integrated rear spoiler, rear diffuser, and chrome quad exhaust.

Under the hood is a 2.9 liter twin-turbocharged V-6 that is derived from a Ferrari V-8. Total power comes in at 505 horsepower and 440 lb-ft. of torque which is transmitted through and 8-speed automatic transmission to AWD. 0-60 MPH is said to be 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 176 MPH.

Inside the Stelvio offers a good mix of performance and luxury details. In terms of practicality there is good second row room for back seat passengers and 19 cubic feet of cargo behind the second row.
