This is the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, the new model with many class-topping features, which immediately becomes the new benchmark in the premium compact SUV segment. With its awe-inspiring design, performance and technology, Stelvio Quadrifoglio is the "fastest SUV around the circuit", having clocked the new record for its class on the iconic Nürburgring: 7 minutes 51.7 seconds. Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is equipped with the exclusive aluminium 2.9 V6 Bi-Turbo petrol engine, developed with inputs from Ferrari technologies and engineering know-how, which delivers maximum power of 510 HP at 6,500 rpm and generates a maximum torque of 600 Nm from 2,500 to 5,000 rpm. This power plant is teamed with the specifically calibrated eight-speed automatic transmission that allows gear shifts in just 150 milliseconds in Race driving mode. Moreover, to maximise the driving experience, the model is equipped as standard with one-piece aluminium paddle shifters integral with the steering column. Its performance is outstanding: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and best-in-class top speed of 283 km/h. But the Alfa Romeo sports SUV is also incredibly efficient in terms of emission and fuel consumption, thanks to its electronically controlled cylinder deactivation system and the "sailing" function, available in Advanced Efficiency driving mode. For the first time, the 510 HP 2.9 V6 Bi-Turbo petrol engine is combined with the innovative Q4 all-wheel drive system, with its guarantees of unbeatable performance, traction, driving pleasure and safety in all situations. What's more, Stelvio Quadrifoglio is equipped with the exclusive AlfaTM Chassis Domain Control unit and is the only SUV in its class to provide differential AlfaTM Active Torque Vectoring as standard. Also standard equipment is the innovative AlfaTM Active Suspension, the system that continually, actively controls the suspensions and shock absorbers. Not to mention that Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio guarantees impeccable handing and comfort thanks to its suspension layout, with the exclusive AlfaLinkTM technology: up front it has a double wishbone system with semi-virtual steering axis, with a four-and-a-half link Multilink system at the rear. In any situation and at all speeds, driving the Quadrifoglio SUV, with the most direct steering ratio on the market (12.1:1), is natural and instinctive.

La prueba es una mierda con perdon, salen a un circuito que ha diseñado el difunto Jacques Villeneuve en Canada , se rien de que los cavallos italiano los 505 del QV son el equivalente de los 435 que tiene el Macan, y que el Velar es el mejor por el simple hecho de ser un Range Rover, meten un m3 al circuito para tener un tiempo de referencia. El QV destroza los tiempos de todos y para no ganar al M3 Clarkson hace dos derrapes para tardar mas tiempo. Leugo los meten un una pista de caballos para hacer un estupido eslalon donde gana el macan, y por ultimo remolcan 3 barquitos y como al Qv no se le peude poner bola de remolque cambia elStelvio por una Ford 150 espectacular y hace el tonto `por medio del monte. Termian por decir que quien se compra un suv es tonto, por que es mas lento quw una berlina y no paso por donde un todoterreno. Por cierto el Velar es precioso.

1. Son PRO-Land Rover a saco. No en vano Jaguar les proporciona coches para el duelo estúpido dónde nunca conozco a nadie (solo a David Hasselhoff de momento). Para Jeremy Clarkson solo existe un todo terreno y es Land Rover y sino revisad la comparativa Bentley-Jaguar-Land o la prueba del Discovery de TG.
2. Es cierto que miman mucho a Alfa Romeo pero con cierto parodismo de todo lo italiano. Cuando vi la previa de la prueba me chocó que fuera May quien llevaba el Land Rover, pero claro... Es que había un Alfa en medio... y los Alfa los lleva Clarkson (a excepción de pruebas antiguas dónde era May quien llevaba el 159)
3. Que el Stelvio es una patata en offroad es conocido por todos... Y sintiéndolo mucho dónde hay un Range que se quite lo demás.
4. Me sorprende mucho que el Macan ganara al Stelvio en el slalom. Pero mucho.
No mates a Jacques V, que está vivito y coleando, aunque a veces den ganas de matarlo de las salidas de pata de banco que tiene. El que murió fue su padre, Gilles, en un tremendo accidente corriendo en F1 en no recuerdo qué circuito. Lo vi en directo y me impactó mucho.sebas af159TI dijo:
